NOTD

As you may have noticed, as of recently I have really been into nail art. I like the idea of having my nails done in a way that probably no one else will have.

Steps:

  • I applied one coat of a clear polish that prevents nails from getting yellow.
  • I followed it by one coat of clear polish.
  • I took a green nail art polish and made a vertical line right in the middle of the nail.
  • I made a vertical line on each side of the green line by using a yellow nail art polish.
  • I used a white nail art polish to make two dots each on the opposite end spaces of the nail.
  • I followed it by making 2 silver dots in the middle spaces of the nail.
  • To finish it off I applied one coat of clear nail polish

Teal NOTD

I’m still in Spring mood when it comes to my nail polishes.  This time I decided to paint my nails using teal as the main color.  Teal is very in this spring but, I decided to go beyond.

I applied a teal nail polish on the nail bed and three different nail art colors (green, yellow, white) to create the designs.

Originally, I was only going to do the flower design on my ring finger but, I wanted to see what else I could come up with.

Is it too much? Should I just stick to one design?

Let me know what you think!

Wild and Crazy NOTD

I went to CVS on Easter Sunday to pick up some diapers but, as always ended up in the cosmetic aisles. I picked up a purple nail polish and two nail art polishes (yellow/green)

I decided that I wanted to do something that I wouldn’t ordinarily do. So I liked the idea of doing an Easter candy cane.

I used purple for the nail bed and added yellow and green diagonal lines.

Later on I’ll do a post with the bottles of nail polish.

Let me know what you think :-)
